First of all, it is illegal in the U.S. The legal word is "bigamy." Since you can only have one legal wife, how would that work for the other woman? She would have no legal rights if you were to die or end the relationship. If you had children, what physical, emotional, and pyschological impact would it have on them? Do you have the financial means to add another woman (and possibly children) to the family? How would everyone's emotional needs be met? How would you deal with disapproval of your lifestyle?
What emotionally healthy woman in her right mind would settle for such an arrangement? Is this something YOU want, or are you just considering it to accomodate your wife?

Who does the housework? Who earns the living? If your household roles are divided along traditional lines then maybe your wife would like the company and the help, maybe splitting up the 'duties' would be a good thing, and she'd have a friend. The tricky thing of course is everyone would want to have a satisfying share of your attention and each others attention and friendship. Things are sometimes difficult to balance between two people, three or four or more could be difficult in new ways.
Also, what about status? Would your wife want to be Wife #1? The alpha wife? Would that be ok with Wife #2?
It might work.

You may not be religious or sex crazed, But you certainly would be crazy!!... I don't mean that in a bad way, but your better off hiring a maid if your wife needs help or something. Plus if you have another wife, does that mean more kids? You probably only going to find another wife that agrees with that if shes in a relgious sector. Plus I think the law forbids it. Goodluck, stay with one for more than one reason. But the biggest would be LESS hassles. Go with 2, double your trouble!

Legaly you can't. I mean you can live with two women but not be married twice. Religiously you shouldn't but you are not religious. So thats that. It sounds like a good idea but are you sure you can handle that?
I think you can be lucky and make it work but more often than not the relationship will end. One or all of you will leave. Remember you can only control your actions. One of the girls can get jelous of the other one. or maybe one of the girls will want to move on to form a separate family. Also, there is the posibility of the two girls leaving with each other and dumping you.
Its up to you.

Well since you are not religious or anything like that and she wants you too, first that's kind of weird to want to share your man with someone else I would be wondering if she wants another husband or something.....Well it's against the law to have more than one wife...if caught you will go to jail go to court pay fines and fees and then you will have to pay for a divorce for one of the wives but hey your choice I think it is pretty stupid b/c then you're not getting or giving your fullself to one person....so yeah...

Dont do it. Not only is it illegal, but the problems you'll have later on wont be worth it. If your wife is telling you its ok to have someone else other than her, I think you need to look more into what she is saying. There could be someone else on the side for her. Not that thats the case, but you never know. How would you feel if your wife had 2 husbands?

If your wife is okay with it, then it's okay for you.
What you two do in your marriage is no one else's
question to answer. I'm a libertarian for a reason.
There are questions for you and her to answer.
Is your wife going to choose the second wife, or are you?
My advice is to let her pick, since she says she's ok with
it.
What would you do if your wife and the second wife
disagree, argue, or even fight?
What if they both try to be the dominant female at the
same time? They might kill one another.
Know too, that polygamy is illegal in many states.
I don't discourage your choice provided your wife is okay
with it really, and agrees to it, but you should let her
choose who the second wife shall be.
I don't believe monogamy is for every one. I don't think
that polygamy is either. Most women wouldn't tolerate it.
I'm glad that you at least were given the choice.
I wasn't.

I think that is the worst idea ever--but if you are a glutton for punishment than go for it--NOT--Its against the law for one thing --and two women in one home?? How long you think that will last?? I think your wife wants you to do someone else so she can--she is interested in another woman--get it !! a no brainer--
