I have two friends who i have known since grade school, and they hooked up in grade eleven, she was in grade 12. They have been through alot of terrible ordeals, but they stuck together like glue. they always talk, they always try to do the right thing, and they don't put up with any bullshit. After ten years together they where finally able to have kids, these are the best kids ever. We have all turned 40 this year, and I look up to them as two people who will always be together, and they always work at it. They are a good example for anyone.

I married my high school sweet heart! We started dating when I was in 12th grade and he was in 10th. I stayed in town and went to community college. During his senior year of high school, we got engaged and when he was done with high school, we moved in together and continued school together. We had a long engagement and didn't wed until almost 3 years later. So now we've been together for over 7 years and married for almost 2. We have had our problems but we usually work through them. Getting married didn't really change anything. However, lately things have been really rough and we fight almost daily. So will it last? I'm not sure at this point. I am just going to see how it goes!

I married my high school boy friend and it lasted six years. He was too immature and would not grow up. Now three kids later he is still a dead beat and has not grown up, he is 33 and now trying to get his life together, every week he has a diffrent girl friend and they are all old enought to be his mother and are all on diability. I am now married to my sweetheart we dated for six years and going on the seventh but for the last year we have been married. We married on New Year's Eve 2005 our reason so every year if things are not going smooth on New Year's Eve we will celebrate our anniversary and wipe the slate clean for the new year. This was his idea and I like it.

I met my sweetheart WHILE I was in high school but he was older. We married right after I got out and it has been over 22 years now of pure bliss !!

The only thing that change after we got married is that we have even more fun now than we did then. Laugh daily and life is good !

Yes. Me? No. I got even better. Do you remember all the guys you liked between jr. high and high school and maybe a little of college? Now roll them into one with all the best qualities and that is what I got. I always wanted certain guys and even dated them for long times but something usually went awry. Today I've been happily married for 7 years to the man of all my dreams, the football player I wanted in high school, the smart guy I would have settled for, the hold my hand to class jr. high school guy and carry my books for me please too. I got the guy who cooks for me all the time (what a surprise) and the guy that I just wanted to fu*k. He is totally hot and lets not forget when I was a devoted little church girl and prayed for that spiritual loving husband. My man Texas LSU Tiger is all that and more than I could have dreamt of.

I've been with my high school sweetheart for almost 12 years. The relationship changes because we change. As long as you grow together and have great communication with one another then it will last.

I married my high school sweetheart. No it did not last. He was abusive, selfish, and a cheater. Yes he was these things before I married him. Don't judge your marriage on what others have went through if you have found the right person to spend you life with.
