The age for legal consent in Canada is 14 he can not be charged with statutory rape. When my daughter was actually y your age she told me she likes someone we talked about it then she told me how old he was at the time he too was 19. We had him over for dinner and movies, they dated for a while. H respected her and they got along well. they did break up though but they are still great friends and it has been 4 yrs since. I always made it clear with my daughter that we can talk about anything and we still do now she is 20. I think you should tell your mom about your boyfriend be straight with her she will set some pretty good ground rules but the point is keep the communication open with her she can not help you or be there for you when you need her. Give her a chance to get to know this young man even if she is upset she still deserves to know what is going on with you. Just be honest

What are you going to do? Mime it? Sherades? Suck it up and tell her, and get ready to spring behind any sturdy furnature for cover.
He is overage and you are underage. Can anyone say Statutory rape? He could be put in jail as a sex offender if he has any kind of sex with you, or even if he kisses you, and then he will have to register as a sex offender the rest of his life. I hope he knows this.

Be honest with your mother by telling her the truth. Your mother maybe angry and disappoint at first. However, she is your mother, she is there for you.
It will be hard for your mother to accept this news but she will be glad that you can come to her and tell her about it. BE strong and tell your mother like it is
