Which characters do you think are going to die in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows?

I think there will definately be a Weasly Death (but only one.) my 3 candidates for this are 1. Percy 2. Mrs. weasly 3. Gred/Forge (one or the other.) There is a reference in Percy's name to a traitor who dies (I think it was Percival?) from the king arthur legends. That plus how awful he's been keeps me thinking that he'll redeem himself somehow by dying (kind of like what's his name the snotty guy in "The Black Cauldron.") 2. I've been scared forever that Mrs. weasley will snuff it because a. she's a mother figure to harry and there is symmetry (harry loses real parents, then finds sirius and molly, then loses sirius, and then molly) and also because of the boggart scene in Order of the Phoenix (where Mrs. Weasley sees everyone she loves dead, but not herself.) I really and truly hope I'm wrong on this one! 3. Not sure about this but it's interesting to contemplate the dramatic potential of losing one or the other twin. These two are really bonded and they almost are Janus like (the two-headed god) so getting rid of one would be poignant and make Harry angrier and more inspired in his quest.

The other candidates for dying are:
1. Hagrid. I would put money on Hagrid dying. He is too Falstaffian and, like prince Harry, harry Potter must go on without him.

2. Neville.
3. Wormtail (in the course of paying back his debt.)
4. some malfoys, probably draco or maybe Narcissa.

I absolutely think Voldemort will die.

I think Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Prof. McGonagal, the Dursleys, Charlie and Bill, Fleur and Lupin are all safe.

I think (this is the weirdest part of the theory) that Harry will die, but he will be alive at the end of the book. I think he will have to at least partially die, maybe by going through the veil or some other way involving a pensieve, cave or maybe a set of stones. He may be guided into his journey by someone who doesn't make it back (like Luna?) or it could be he meets up with Sirius in the world of the dead and sirius gives him the really important thing he needs to defeat Voldy in this life (like the last horcrux.)

watch me be wrong about everything, but these are my humble thoughts.

Snape and Voldemort for sure, and Harry almost definitely.
I've also been thinking that Ron or Hermione might snuff it, but I'm not sure. If I had to choose one of the two, I would say Ron because the whole thing with him sacrificing himself in the wizard's chess game in Sorceror's Stone seemed a little foreshadowy to me.

It drives me crazy when people say that only 2 characters are going to die in the last book, remember that Rowling said two MORE than she had originally planned were going to die, and one who was supposed to die was getting a stay of execution.

And why do so many people seem to think that if Harry dies someone else will have to kill Voldemort? Isn't it possible that Harry might die in the act of killing Voldemort or as a result?

I agree that more than 2 people are going to die.... Harry will have to die cause he is a Horcrux so that means that Voldemort will have to die too.... there are ways though Harry can survive (kind of) but i have said these things so many times that i'm not going to repeat it to every person who aren't asking direct questions....
Such as your question.....(SORRY) but i just wish that people would just start asking questions about direct character....but not harry cause everybody always ask about him....

I think Jk Rawling only wants us to think harry will die....but if he does i think Draco will kill Voldemort....but almost definately Voldemort will die......I personally think Hermione and Hagrid will die.......We'll probly be completely suprised by a sudden twist ending or something

Well remember her last word of the book use to be "scar', and she had already said her last chapter was written. I believe at least Voldermort will die. Harry possibly. The Dursley's maybe, at least one of them. Ron and Hermionie nope. Ginny nope. Bert and Ernie (fred and George) one possibly. Percy possibly, Hagrid.can't see it. Draco nope. My Lucius Malfoy ....yes. Snape.....nope. Wormtail......yes. Neville no.

I think that when Voldemort tried to kill Harry he turned him into a horcrux so Harry's gonna kill himself and then some one else will kill voldemort.
