Why would anyone be against accepting Mexican Pesos. Mexico accepts the dollar. It doesnt affect us in any way. ACCEPTING PESOS DOESNT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING WITH ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT THAT PEOPLE MIGHT TRAVEL TO MEXICO AND BRING BACK PESOS

I am against accepting the Canadian dollar, Euros, and Yen as well. Even though our economy is not in great shape, it is still more stable than most foreign currencies. Personally, I do not want to have my currency tied to that of a foreign country.

Before communism fell in Russia, parts of Alaska accepted the Rouble on equal terms as the dollar. When the currency became open, many people there lost a fortune because the value set was so far off (I don't recall what it was).

Mexico has already changed their currency once. Why should I risk it happening again... not that I think it will... but it still could.

If there is an issue and these businesses end up in financial trouble, who are they going to go to for help? The Mexican government? Or the U.S. government? THAT does affect me.

I LOVE Mexico. My wife is half Oaxacan. I travel there every year and plan to retire there, but I will still be using my U.S. dollar.

I think it's a brilliant business plan. Look how much publicity Patron's Pizza got for doing it! I'd never even heard of them before this. What else are you going to do with money you bring back from Mexico? And illegal aliens don't usually have pesos. They come here to get paid in American dollars.

Business owners can take any currency they want. If they want to accept bags of rocks, so be it!

In the US? Unless you're a money exchange, yest I'm against it.

We're accomodating illegal aliens. Not good.
