yes you should tell someone. tell someone right now, someone you know, you should tell one of your friends. my friend back in school was thinking of committing suicide, and she slipped me a note in class telling me that she was thinking about it. i got really upset..she is by best friend, and i couldn't see that happen to her. i told our guidance counselor at school, and she got help, i went with her to the hospital while she talked to someone. she told me a couple years later that it was the best thing i could have done for her.
i really think you should just talk to one of your friends about it. tell them why you did it in the first place.

Absolutely, my guess is that some where along the line you felt that you were not being loved. So when you were let down you shut your self off in order to keep from getting hurt. Once you wanted to turn your self back on you couldn't remember how. So you cut your self in order to see if there is something wrong with you, as to why you cant turn your self back on. It will take professional help in order to get your self turned back on the right track. You cant do this by your self. As you can see where it has gotten you, you are cutting your self. My wife cut her self for many years, it took her to re-learn how to love in order to stop. Please talk to someone, one day you might cut too deep and then it will be too late to talk to anyone.

Yes, preferably a parent, counselor, or close friend. Hurting yourself is preliminary to many deep seated issues and the moment you make others aware of this they will help you. Do not feel overwhelmed, they will not condemn you or try to control you. They only want you around so they will do their best to ensure that does indeed happen. They love you and will only try to help so it is very important that you let them.

I understand cutting, been there, done that. You need psychological help, right away. Go to your ER and explain to them that you need to harm yourself. I've never done my wrists. In that, you face bleeding to death. Let someone help you. That's what they're there for. Good luck.
P.S. You'll see that peers who haven't done this really don't understand it. This way you can be around people who do.

Apparently you want to, or you wouldn't have asked. Get some counseling and take care of yourself. If you don't know how to get started......talk to your parents, if you can't do that talk to your school counselor. There are lots of adults you can turn to.

Lara, yes, please! There are some unresolved issues in your life that need immediate attention. Tell your doctor, a teacher, your parents. Get some help before it gets worse.

PLEASE get some help and ask your parents to get you a counceler!!! This is a serious matter and could mean your death. I really hope that you tell a parent or an adult you trust (i.e. a friend's mom).

ONLY IF YOU FEEL THE NEED TO! IT's no one's business what you did in your past. If they ask, then you can deal with it when it happens. Don't say or do anything that you are not comfortable with! Your life...your choice.
