It's either Windows 98 or Windows 98SE how do I make sure?

Right-click on the My Computer icon and select "Properties". The OS info will be on the first screen of the properties box that pops open.

Hi. Get the "System Info" from Start> Programs> Accessories> System tools>. This should tell you.

Bring up Windows Explorer. Right click on "My Computer".
That should bring up details of your OS.

I can't guarantee this will work on Win98, but without a way to test it...

Go into the system in the control panel.

If you RIGHT CLICK on My Computer, and choose PROPERTIES, it will tell you exactly what OS you are using, along with lots of other nifty information.
