Call your local super market and have them save the plastic/glass juice/wine cartons for you. They are generally clean on the inside and made of thick cardboard so they're really sturdy.

If you deal with ebay you can order free boxes through them or online through the post office.

Liquor stores! Check them on the days they get their shipments. They are strong and not big.
