When DNA Replication is complete, how do the 2 DNA molecules compare to eachother & the original DNA molecule?

Ideally, both new molecules are identical and exact copies of the original molecule. In reality, about 1 in 1 million base pairs is substituted for another. Depending on where in the molecule this substitution takes place and what substituion occurs, a mutation may occur, changing the genetic code.
