It should be pretty simple, look in the owners manual or get a repair manual for the quad. Tightening the chain should be done to specs for your specific brand and model, over tightening the chain can do some serious damage- not just sprockets and a new chain so keep that in mind.

Look at your machine.. there should be some way of moving the rear axle back. Look for one or two threaded adjuster-bolts on the rear swingarm. The axle might have an offset bushing to tighten the chain as well. Call a honda shop and ask to talk with one of the mechanics, they should be able to describe the process over the phone and they should be able to tell you how tight/ where to measure the amount of slack to have in the chain.
