Nice that I.W. is seeking therapy. Only he knows if he is sincere. It would be nice. But I still stand by my first opinion that had T.R. Knight used the N word to refer to Washington he would have been fired on the spot and not been getting so much coddling.Yeah...I know i am going to hear all about "forgive" and "give him a chance" But let's be real people...What is wrong with this picture? In the same kind of rage Michel Richards made racial slurs (and he was at least somewhat provoked)and this guy may never really work again. People were ready to burn him at the stake. Yep. He was wrong! But why is it you don't dare call a black person who makes a slur 100% wrong and fire their butts just like you would a white person.I say FIRE WASHINGTON. And let's stop dancing around this particular issue of discrimination. It's not a lesser insult because Washington is black..and that attitude pis*es me off!

I totally agree with you; one time can be forgiven, but two times should require him to be fired. Therapy won't help anyone realize they're using slurs; they already get it. They're not gonna stop using the word just cause of therapy. You'd think he'd learn from common sense, but we saw how much he learned from the October incident.

You are right. It is NOT a lesser insult. Both words are ignorant slurs that should never come out of a persons mouth. BUT you are wrong about Michael Richards. He will work again. There are many other people who unfortunately use the 'N' word and find it okay & they will continue to support him. THere are also people who may not find it ok but will still support him. Isaiah W is definitely in the wrong and should NOT be taken lightly, but he no doubt, will suffer as well. The LGBT community can be harsh when we have been done wrong. And Isaiah was wrong. He'll get his. So dont waste time thinking "the black man is getting away with everything once again." Because THAT kind of thinking makes me sick.

I believe that all this "Therapy" is just a whole marketing gimick by not only Isaiah Washington but also the show's leading lawyers ans consultants to make thing "Good" with those individuals upset and angered buy the comment he made. I have worked in marketing to long to see how things fall and how companies try to make things nice nice for the public after a major bad issue has occured. They want to keep him, on the show and lets face it, most individuals that are upset and angered by his comment already have lost respect for him. I know I will not want to see a movie or show with him. This "therapy" is all a marketing gimick.

First of all, it sounded to me like a personal spat that another cast member took and ran with all out of proportion; and it's not just "sensitivity training", it's being referred to as rehab. I am a Black 55-year old female; I have a gay son and a gay brother. If anyone is sensitive to name-calling, trust me - it's me. But sometimes, in the name of "political correctness", we take things too far. And this is definitely one of those times. Everybody, including the media and the people who encourage the media, need to just let - it - GO!!!
