Homosexuality is not a choice, and it has been scientifically shown that there are many genetic and biological differences between homosexual and heterosexual people.

YES it has been proven that SOME homo/bi/or heterosexual are born with a gene that will trigger there mind. In what way I don't know but i do know that some homo/bi/or heterosexuals choose to become what they are. Those people that choose one day all of a sudden that they want to try something new are not justifiable but i think people that are born with that gene and can't fight what they are feeling are justified.

The question of whether homosexuality is an innate quality or a choice is at best still up in the air. It would seem that a greater part of the scientific community is beginning to believe that homosexuality is an innate quality, however, others cite increased pressure on the scientific community from special interest groups as well as pressure from homosexual doctors and researchers within the scientific community. More research will have to be made before many will believe that homosexuality is something that many are simply born with.

you're top we can choose on no longer having intercourse in any respect or interior the worst case have hetero intercourse purely to maintain a picture yet it particularly is the only determination right here. The instincts, thoughts, guts won't substitute. There are no longer any stable researches in this all of them ended up inconclusive on the two techniques: those announcing this is an determination and the others announcing this is innate. There are some genetic researches although that shows maximum gays have an particular mix of genes. what isn't proved yet is why some "heteros" even have it yet can not settle for gay intercourse as an determination.

You are -I think- the 13th or more asker in this forum to ask this same exact boring question ......OMG...
It's not a choice at all. You whether born as a gay or straight. It's already in you since you are 1 month old red baby.... then it will grow stronger as you get older.
Society, environment, culture, religion and family do affect you for NOT being gay. But the seed, the original embryo and root for being a gay is basically already in you since you were born in this earth and no one could really change it. Not even psychiatrist, your parents, religions whatsoever....
All you have to do is trying to accept the fact that you love the same gender and try to be happy about it :)
It's really not the end of the world to be a gay.

I'd rather be eaten alive by sharks. It's definitely not what I would have wanted for myself. How did they know the world was round without going into space?
I don't just "think" I'm gay either. I was gay way before I even knew what it meant. I was not taught or encouraged to be this way. That is a fact. And no science or Christian can tell me otherwise.

Homosexuality is a choice. If you believe in god and read the bible it says that man shouldn't be with man. God created man and women together. Not man and man, and women and women. During adolesence people start to feel weird, and have new feelings, and cravings, and so there will have a choice wheater to follow those cravings or ignore it or follow God's principle. So homosexuality is really a choice.

Well I have heard on some of the shows such as good morning america, oprah, the view and a few others that they now think a person is born with the gene or genes that would contribute to someone being gay

LOL yea this question has been asked 43,454,342 times. But whatever. You'll get so many varying responses. I, personally, believe that we grow up having preferences, likes & dislikes. And from there, we make the DECISION to either act upon them or not to. I decided to act upon my love for other women and i live life happily as a lesbian.
