Does it mean that I have a sense that I haven't done enough? Why does this bother me? Do I believe I'm being irresponsible?

There may be some things that you know you have to get done but unfortunately our brains don't always prioritize as much as we need them to because the guilt you are feeling may be from things that you cannot do until say warm weather or until you have the materials or a specific day. Our brains only focus on Part of the tasks we have to do and not the whole picture. Just set some priorities or dates to get things done and the guilt will ease. Good Luck>

Been there and definitely got the t-shirt. :> I come home and turn on the TV, turn on the computer and go back and forth between them for the night, most nights. I'm not sure if I spend so much time on Yahoo answers because Im obsessive or because I'm procrastinating on all the work I should be doing instead! You probably feel guilty (as I sometimes do) because there are always a million things to do. Get over it by getting up every now and then, spend 5 or 10 minutes doing something productive, then go back. Otherwise, enjoy yourself! :)

As long as your work is done, what is wrong with that? I have a feeling you feel guilty because your work is neglected. However, if that is not the cause, there's no reason to feel guilty. Enjoy life. It is always too short.

Guilt is an indication of the need for change, even if it is merely how you think about sitting down and typing. Its your body's chemical reaction to spur you to do something. What is it that you need to do? What is it that you want to do? Can you make these two coincide?

Some people feel like they have to accomplish so many activities after work/school. Just relax. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Wait! If you forgot to pick up your kids or you've got a date with your wife, you may want to get up.

What else should you be doing? If there is something specific you are neglecting, you should listen to your guilt. If not, then your guilt is merely an echo of something from the past.

Yes, you should always do something every day. Help somebody, or even just clean your house. :)

But every once in a while you are allowed to have a lazy day.
