Sorry but that's the life your family has chosen ... it sucks ... but I know the feeling ... write a lot and continue waiting for that phone call from him ... just hearing his voice will make you feel better ... !

Yesss its very hard...try doing something with your spare time like going to school or get a job...if not maybe spend time with friends going out have some fun if you have any friends, dont keep yourself locked up in the house that will only drive you crazy...it is always hard when they're away but im sure its hard on them as well i would hope...hope this ideas can help you...if i was you i wouldn't stay in the house that will only make it worse for you and make you constantly hurting.

my husband is on his second tour in iraq. you have to be strong and get used to it. the best thing you can do is not feel sorry for yourself. keep your head up and be proud of him. and keep busy! believe me that will help pass the time.
i'm an army wife and i know that it hurts. but being married to a soldier means you have to be strong. he's being strong by being over there. so you be strong by being by his side. don't make him feel bad for doing his job. thats your job as a military wife. good luck!

yes it hurts. but this is where you do something for yourself instead of just sitting there waiting for the day that he comes back. hang out with your friends...get some hobbies...if not...learn some hobbies...get a job (if you don't have one). anything but sitting there thinking about it. it may help to pass the time if you had other fun activities

Suck it up and get through it. Separation is hard, but don't be stupid and go into the arms of another man. You knew he was a warrior when you married him and he is doing what he wants to do and it's his nature. Trust me, I do know how hard it is and you just gotta be tough as nails like a soldier and suck it up because this is what you voluntarily signed up for.

think about when u two where dating and not near eachother. just imagine how much he is missing u right now. be strong for his sake. my bro is in the military not the same but think of the good times in either scenario is great.
