With all the taxes our now pensioners have paid during their working lifetime who thinks the government?

should make their heating totally free rather than giving them a measly voucher which only pays a fraction of their fuel bill?

I would base that on the assets they have. Those that cannot afford to heat their home should be given the resources to do so without cost.

No government will do that, especially this one, it would be bankrupt with in a week. Brown also is trying to make it impossible to leave anything when you go but so far has not yet had the guts to try.
