Are dented rims fixable?

I had 18" rims with low profile tires on my civic and I recently hit a huge pothole in the dark. Two rims are bent pretty good and they don't hold any air. Are these fixable? If so, does anyone know any good specialists around Boston Area? Thanks

Yes, they are technically fixable, though to do it properly the wheel would really need to be stripped, heated, reformed, cooled, heat treated and repainted - and even then, I'm not sure I'd trust them.

Bending the wheels does nasty things to the the actual fabric of the metal itself, and while you may be able to get the shape back, the strength is another matter entirely.

Don't take the risk - replace them.
