seriously guys, why don't you wear a ring if you are married?? and i don't think 90% of guys are married in response to a reply..in all age groups, divorce is very high-maybe 50% of guys (and ladies) are married. i would just like to know which guys aren't married, especially if they are checking out the ladies. it seems like they are single. how to know? just ask? yuk-too obvious. i just don't get why some guys don't wear the ring. there are some good replies, but not from the guys themselves, it seems...

I have know my wife for over 35 years and have been married for 26. I have a wedding ring but have never worn it. Honestly, I don't like wearing rings or even a watch. No ulterior motives, never cheated it is just uncomfortable to wear. My wife knows this and it isn't an issue. See I don't wear a ring but I told you I'm married.

Most married guys wear wedding rings, but not all. Some people (men and women) don't like to wear jewelry. Sometimes they have a job that would make wearing a ring unsafe. If there's someone you're interested in and he's not wearing a ring, just ask him.

If there's no ring at 40 or 50 for a man, there is at least a 90% chance that he is married. Since it's a fact that women out-number men by at least a 3 to 1 ratio (providing most of them the opportunity to "pick and choose"), most men are married by the time they reach their mid 30's. And we all know that they're never satisfied, right? Right!! So, off comes the ring and he's on the prowl, so watch out!!

Depends on the situation... My husband doesn't wear his ring because he works with electronics on the regular basis, my parents' rings don't fit anymore, and they never had them resized, so they don't wear them; some people simply don't like wearing rings. I'd say, most people who don't wear a ring aren't married, and most married people who don't wear a ring have a reason for it other than being a cheater. I wouldn't jump to conclusions.

My husband is 47 and doesn't wear his wedding ring. He works with glass and it is danderous to wear a ring. Also my father has been married 37 years and has never worn a wedding ring because he is a mechanic and it is also dangerous. Sometimes there are reasons!

I know a lot of men that don't prefer to wear a ring. Has nothing to do with marriage vows or cheating, they just don't like to. Also, some men work in factories and construction, where the ring could become a hazard for them.

You're being neurotic, let it go... big deal! My husband is 22 and doesn't wear one. He's a manly man and hates jewelry. He comes home every night and I have no reason to believe that there is anyone else. Some men just don't like wearing rings. What matters is in his heart and that you two are committed to each other. Who cares about rings? So what? That does symbolize marriage, but jewelry doesn't mean crap about your committment to each other. Let it go before you drive him crazy and into the arms of someone else! If he doesn't have a happy home, he won't want to come home.

probably in most cases, but my husband and i are in our twenties/thirties, and neither of us wear our rings for different reasons. anyway, if a guy were a smart cheater, he WOULD wear his ring. you get hit on way more when you wear it-for some reason there is a large margin of women out there who are looking to have an affair with a married (taken and a challenge) man.

I know a lot of guys that don't wear their wedding rings. Most don't because they don't like wearing jewelry. My dad on the other hand can't wear any type of jewelry because he is allergic to it. I have the same problem but to a lesser degree, I can wear rings and necklaces but I can't have any piercings.

It depends on the setting in which you are meeting these people.
Bars are bad idea anyway. So, I assume it is some other venue.
Simply ask someone that knows him. Better to meet someone that at least someone you know, knows.
Many men simply don't like jewerly including a wedding ring. I'm one of them.
