It was supposed to be 7/07/07 due to the many references to magical properties to the number 7 in the series.
However, with her yet to complete the book and it unfortunately falling on the London Bombings date, it's unlikely now.
Possibly August or September - though likely to be August so the Kids can read it in the Summer Holidays.

The rumour is that as it is the 7th book in the series it will be released on 7th July 2007 - 7/7/7 !

I have also heard that it was going to be 07/07/07(through my brother who works in a book shop), but the store I work in have just put up posters saying 1st September 07......hope that helps.
