Their website is probably the best place to start. It's got everything you need to know:

Try their website and then go back to it a week later. you'll notice that some 'policies' have changed.
A lot of their manifesto (s) are very woolly. What they say they believe in now is rights for the indiginous British people (whoever they are) and 'voluntary' repatriation of immigrants - at the taxpayers expense.
They also believe in every adult having a firearm (think about your mad mate having an assault rifle), isolationism and gagging the press (as they have said nasty things about the BNP).
I don't like the BNP but to be fair, go and read their website and decide for yourself. They do a good line in Euro style neo nazi T-shirts ;)

The British National Party (BNP) is the most prominent far-right political party in the United Kingdom. It has 55 councillors in local government, but lacks representation in the national Parliament. In the 2005 general election, the BNP received 0.7% of the popular vote.

According to its 2005 manifesto the BNP is "committed to stemming and reversing the tide of non-white immigration and to restoring, by legal changes, negotiation and consent the overwhelmingly white makeup of the British population that existed in Britain prior to 1948". To achieve this aim, the BNP advocates the use of "firm but voluntary incentives" to remove ethnic minorities from the UK.[2]

Marginalised by the political mainstream - Conservative Party leader David Cameron, for example, has called on voters to "back anyone but the BNP,"[3] - the BNP is often described as racist.[4][5] The party denies this accusation, however, and claims that racism is a part of human nature and describes its supporters as "realists".[6]

The BNP is committed to reintroduce compulsory national service and to the re-unification of the UK with the Republic of Ireland. It plans to offer incentives to "encourage" women to stay at home and raise families rather than work and to reintroduce both corporal and capital punishment.

Anti-fascist magazines such as Searchlight and organisations such as Unite Against Fascism dedicate a substantial portion of their efforts to denouncing the party.

as a political party they should have a manifesto (most probably on their website) which will summarise their beliefs and policies...

although, this will only provide you with what they would like openly and publically known about them.... like all political parties there will be members who interpret this to suit their own agenda's whether they be more mainstream or more radical...

to get a true an open viewpoint you'd have to do quite a bit of research from a variety of sources...

I`m `Not` a member of `BNP` + I don`t affiliate or unite with any political party, I find them a waste of time. My concerns are with Troops in Iraq, Mr Blair with down right refusal to questioned by MPs, I find disconcerting, whats he got hide? + immigrants, he + his MPs losing control, we will overrun immigrates by his inadequates. The book stops with him.
