I have an xbox 360 wireless controller and I'm wondering if you are able to charge them if so how?

No. not out of the box. You can buy either a play and charge kit (comes with a battery pack and a USB cable. When the battery runs low you just plug it into the 360) or a quick charge kit (comes with a battery pack and a wall charger. Just pop out the controller pack and put it in the wall charger). I'd rec the PaC kit. It's $20 and assures that you won't ever need to buy batteries for your 360.

It's a play and charge kit. It comes with rechargeable batteries and a cord which connects to the USB port at the front of the xbox. This will allow you to STILL play the xbox whilst it's charging the batteries. Once charged you can remove the cord for wireless fun!

Sort of if u put rechargable batteries in you must take them out and charge them, but u just throw away reguallr AA alkalines. Its not like the Sony SIXAXIS where there is a built in L-Ion battery

you can use a recharger to charge the batteries, you can also use normal batteries depending on what kind of battery pack you have.
