As a filthy rich person I have mine flown to Brazil where they are pounded on rocks by amazonian virgins before being sun dried on traditional tribal frames while being cured with fragrant oils and hardwood smoke. They are then flown back to the UK, ironed, warmed and carefully put on by fully trained sock dressers.
New socks - Oh no, that would be too expensive!

No, believe it or not they have someone wash them for them and re-use them all the time until they get holes and then toss 'em. That's how they got rich. But I did know someone who was not rich but comfortable and never washed a shirt but always bought a new one.

Rich people don't wash their socks, their housekeepers do. They wear them until they go out of style then they donate them to the salvation army and deduct them on their taxes.

It was well publicised a while ago, that Prince Charles wears a brand new pair every day. What a waste.
And those famous rappers in USA...they pride themselves on wearing a brand new pair of trainers/sneakers/pumps every day...
I hope they do something useful with the old pairs, like send them onto charities and the 3rd world.

They didn't get that rich by wasting money on socks. So they don't throw them until holey like you or I don't

most suuuuuuuper rich people just throw them out. especially tv celebrities don't even wear the same outfit twice
