Over in India I believe if I am correct the supressed gay and transexual people can marry a hindu GOD and on that day it is highly accepted to dress and give offerings even with men that are straight. So yes there is an annual fesitval that lets transsexual men marry each other, and their GOD, if just for one day. At the end of the festival, they smash coconuts on the ground, some presume, because of the supressed anger for being held down during the whole year.

No. arranged marriages are set for procreation to continue the quality of a lineage - gay doesn't cut it. Though, the Romans pre-arranged boys relationships to older men, but those men usually also had female relationships.

That is unless there is some very unusual, small culture that has not been discovered and reported on as of yet

I'm not sure about this, but if a culture arranges marrages, they clearly dont believe in love, or believe that you'll learn to love your new partner, so they wouldnt place you in a gay marrige. Thats what I'm guessing.

None that I know. The closest I can think of would be the ancient Greeks and Romans that would arrange for their young sons to be 'apprentices' or 'servants' to wealthy and/or important men.

Not that I have ever heard of.
The society would have to accept same-sex marriages to begin with, and there are not a huge number of societies that are that progressive and based in equality. Look at the USA for one. :o)

That would be extremely hard considering that one rarely knows whether or not a child would be homosexual until much later in life.
