okay, you do the absolute value spilt for this one, you spilt it to
3-5x<13, and the other one is 3-5x>-13. you find out the answer, which would be x>-2 for the first one and x<16/5, you find the combination for these 2, and the final answer is -2

Ok, this has to have 2 answers. 3-5x<13 and 3-5x>-13. Just solve it like a regular equation from there.

ok solve it like a normal q with an = sign
absolute value is teh distence from 0 so it just means make everything positive
make the -5 +5 so its 3+5x
then -3 from both sides so its 5x<10
then divide 5 form both sides so its x <2
and thats ur answer
fyi this was rele easy considering im in 8th grade geometry, which means ive never taken algebra 2, only 1!!

|3 - 5x| < 13 subtract 3
-5x < 10 divide by -1
5x < 10 divide by 5
x < 2
and get the other answer:
|3 - 5x| < -13
-5x < -16
5x < 16
x < 16/5

3-5x<13
subtract 3 to get the variable alone on the left, but do it on both sides to keep the balance
-5x < 10
divide each side by -5 to find the variable.. same thing on each side..
x<-2
so u know that x is less then -2
~UR DONE~
