some days oil pressure will read well past 80 It will read where there are no numbers and some days it wont go past 40. I can turn off the vehicle and the meter will still read 40. My check engine light hasnt gone off neither has the DIC computer letting me know there is a malfunction.

Didja check the oil using the dipstick? Change oil or filter may be needed also

ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOUR OIL LEVEL IS WHERE IT SHOULD BE BUT YOU ARE PROBALY GOING TO HAVE TO CHANGE SENDING UNIT
