I played the version for PS2 where you start out in the mansion and progress to Mom's place, own place, roommate, married, I just want to know if the PC version is the same game.

no it is wayyyy different. The sims for pc, you make your character tehn move them into a house of your choice. You get to pick what you want to do with them and its a bit more free and way more FUN!

No. The Sims for console games are a story mode based. If you play the free will, (If you havent unlocked it yet press L1,L2,R1,R2 on the menu and enter 'Sims'), that is more like it. But it is still a little different.

no no its like night and day lol Pc is way better altho Ps2 is fun too

No. that game is sims bustin' out. i have that for gamecube. i also have the sims2 for coumpter.
