There are plenty of tricks to keep you warm during the winter. Turn the heat up, drink coco and hot tea and lighting the fireplace. The best way to keep warm is letting your body do what it does best...acclimate and adjust to the weather!

Being a veteran of the military and spending lots of time in the field. The best defense to the cold is your bodies built in temperature control. Instead of wearing heavy clothes which is a good thing don't get me wrong. Wear light garments with layers. Don't run outside with a tank top or nothing because you are human and can take but so much.

When you wake up in the morning (when your body temp.and heart rate is at its lowest). Try and just wear a t-shirt and shorts and feel your body just slowly warm itself up and maintain your core heat. Than it will take fewer articles of clothing to keep you warm and you will stay warm longer.

Woman are at a disadvantage simply because of the makeup of their body. Yet, male or female our bodies work the same. If this isn't your cup of tea grab someone you care for and just snuggle up real close.... that always works, guaranteed ;)

Take care and stay warm!

A fireplace
A heater
a good man
hot chocolate
hot mulled cider
woolen socks
a feather bed
faux fur comforter
chicken noodle soup
Thick aran sweaters
again woolen socks
Eat lots of filling food that will warm you inside
Try to wear sweaters and turtlenecks
you need to keep your chest warm so that you do not catch a cold and always keep your feet warm because if they are cold... you may just fall ill

Why is this in "family and relations? Anyways, the best way to keep warm is to dress in layers and to make sure you put a cap on your head. Most heat is lost through your head.

Cuddl Duds! I'm wearing top and bottoms and have been every day since I got them. They really really help and yet they're thin enough that you can wear them under tight pants without adding undue stress to your zipper. And the v-neck has a large enough neckline that it stays hidden under all but the most low-cut tops.

Thermal underwear, windbreakers, and definitely hat, mitts and warm socks. This is for outdoors. If you're in, wear layers if it's cold and turn up the heat.

Dress in layers and wear thermal underwear. Also wear a hat. 95 percent of the heat from your body escapes from the top of your head.

it's said that your head holds most of your body heat, so wear a binkie and keep your hands and feet warm.

Dress in layers and wear a hat! Wear synthetic fabrics. Cotton absorbs your sweat and will make you colder.
