To the best of my knowledge uniform colors are just selected so that they are different from other area schools and students can be easily identified.

With love in Christ.

I don't think they mean anything! I went to Catholic school for 8 years all through elementary school. It might have something to do with the order running it. My colors were blue and brown and yellow skirts in the summer. The boys didn't have a different summer look. Try contacting a Catholic dioceses office. Good luck!

The colors will often be representative of the school "colors" just like any public school. You'll see a lot of blue, and is usually representative of Mary. The concept of uniforms is to create an atmosphere where everyone is treated the same, regardless of ethnic or economic background, or how much money you have. Everyone wears the same thing. Sure makes it easier to get ready to go to school in the morning. I always liked it because I was always proud of my school.

The colors mean nothing. They pick the dullest colors or plaid material so everyone looks bad. (It's a nun priest thing) I wore navy blue for 8 years and graduated into 4 years of blue blazer, plaid skirt and white shirt. I even had a little plaid beanie to wear on my head in church. Every time I see that plaid it makes me cringe.
