What is the best book you have ever read. Or series of books, or a few books if you just can't choose.?

What is you favorite book, who's the author, and whats it about?
Mine are "Enders game" and "Enders Shadow" by Orson Scott Card. They are companion novels. About two complicated children with so much ahead of them. I recommend reading "Enders game" first

Read Odd thomas,Forever odd and Brother Odd by Dean Koontz.These books are about Odd Thomas who see dead people and is compelled to solve crimes.

Brother Odd by Dean Koontz is the third book in his Odd Thomas series. Poor Odd has been through so much in the last couple of years. He lost Stormy, the love of his life, he's given up his job and his home to move into seclusion at a California mountainside monastery in hopes that his "gift" for seeing the dead won't be an issue up there. Instead he finds a poltergeist monk and evil spirits gathering around the young disabled children the monks (and nuns) care for. Odd knows that trouble is coming, and as usual he's the only one to recognize it.Can Odd mitigate the coming cataclysm? Yes, Orson Scott Card is quite the remarkable author. I own Enders Game, but havn't read it yet. Seventh Son and his contributation to the Elements of Fiction Writing series.

My long loved author at this point in time is Cornelia Funke. I was absolutely stunned with her work of Inkheart. That is a trilogy I believe. Also The Theif Lord was a great adventure through the streets of Venice! I'd highly reccomend anything with her name on it!

I've read and enjoyed Ender's Game a few times though I haven't gotten around to reading the other books.

Favorite Series: Discworld series by Terry Pratchett (for the humour) and The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher (for the action... and the humour)

Favorite Novel: Good Omens by Neil Gaimen and Terry Pratchett

Favorite Webcomic: Sluggy Freelance by Pete Abrams

Right now I am hooked on John McCullough books. He makes history come alive in a great story format.

I also like Stephen King, I've read them all.
Walter Farley, Black Stallion series.
Carolyn Keene, Nancy Drew series.
The Hobbit, and Lord of the Rings trilogy.

One of my all time favorite books is The Catcher in the Rye. Basically it's about a teenage boy that struggles with the ideas that society has about a number of important issues including peer pressure, sexuality, and human relationships. It is sort of the kind of book where you both want to yell at the main character and mother him all at the same time. I recommend it to anyone and everyone.

The best book I have ever read is Gone Too Far by Suzanne Brockmann. I love her writing and ideas. I immediately and practically automatically fall in love with her Navy SEALs. <3 I believe her most recent series is TS Inc. It completely amazes me how she is able to link nearly all of her books together. I mean there's some part of one book that makes so much sense in the next.
