Poverty in and of itself shouldn't be a big impediment to learning, although it depends on how deprived the child is. Missing breakfast can seriously affect a child's ability to concentrate, for example. Also, poor children often have to care for younger siblings or do other household work which interferes with their schoolwork.
There is of course a statistical correlation between poverty and lack of success in school, but I think that's mostly because of all the other factors associated with poverty. For example, a poor child is more likely to suffer from lead poisoning, fetal alcohol syndrome, parental drug use, exposure to drugs/crime, having a parent in prison, etc. Also, a poorer child is far less likely to have well educated parents. So even if the parents are actively involved, they may not be able to help support their children's education as well as wealthier, better educated parents.

There is evidence that it does. (By the way, the word is "affects", not "effects".) This is not surprising; a poor family is less likely to live in an environment which fosters learning. But there may be a reverse cause and effect relation here: if poverty arises because of lower intelligence of the parents, the child's intelligence may be lower also.

It relies upon on the newborn and the particular ed centers at their college. Are you speaking approximately purely everyday getting to understand disabilities or different disabilities that could require particular training centers besides? i understand that particular training is plenty diverse now than it became right into some years in the past. not every physique has the comparable needs or getting to understand sort, and individuals have diverse needs and alternatives as adults. No 2 jobs or agencies are precisely alike (purely like human beings). there's a place for each guy or woman. endurance is fundamental. i became into by no skill especially training, and that i don't continually locate it undemanding to get by way of in this international. If somebody needs a splash extra desirable help in college, what's the subject? every physique needs a splash help at a while or different. some human beings is easily not relatively autonomous, yet an training will help them have a extra effective high quality of existence. they could not be shoved aside as having no cost the two. we are able to learn plenty from human beings from all walks of existence if we decide for to.

I think it depends on the parents. The parents may tell the kids we will never get out of poverty, so it doesnt matter, so the kids won't try. OR the parents may tell the kids we don't have a lot, but you will and engourage their kids to do better than they did.
Poor or rich, the parents are the defining factor in whether a child will learn and succeed in school.
Poverty is not an excuse not to succeed.

Yes. For the truly poor, poor nutrition, ignorance, depressed parents, alcohol, drugs, abuse, broken families, multiple moves, difficult home life, low self esteem, lack of opportunity, - all are possible factors that impede a child's development. No school supplies, torn, dirty clothing and no haircut hurts a child's image and self image. Head lice are ever present and can take their attention off their studies. lack of transportation makes it hard to get to school, much less after school functions, including sports.

Well it can. It just depends upon the psychology of that particular child. It is extremely difficult for school children to focus on learning when they are worried about what they are going to eat, why they don't have a coat to wear, or what they are going to return home to after school.

If the child is going hungry it'll be hard to pay attention in class. The same goes for if they are worrying about anything that is stemming from their economic problems.

If they do not get proper nutrition they are less likely to achieve greatness!
Plus a stable family life is a help for rest, happiness, sense of well being.
If you can see hookers, drug dealers, and drive-by shootings from your home, it doesn't make for a good learning environment.
