I don't think that the way we live will be significantly different. It will be easier and more convenient with the new technology, but flying cars and floating building is still pretty far off.

Look back 13 years ago in 1994 life was practically the same as it is now. Things are more advanced now, back then very few could have imagined being able to listen to thousands of songs and watch any movie on a device half the size of a cassette player (an iPod).

Let's take the rapid growth in technology in account and go back 50 years. In 1957, you went woke up in a bed, ate cereal in your kitchen, left your house on the ground in a car that has wheels, went to work, came home at 6:00, watched TV, ate a steak, and went back to sleep in a bed. Today we have devices that make these tasks easier and more enjoyable, but life is essentially the same.

I believe that it takes at least a century or more for significant changes in lifestyles to occur.

One word, the Internet.

The Internet's integration in our daily lives is going to be the cause for a very strange world. For 2020, I picture the very beginnings of this world where DKR is being practice by scientists and possibly think-tanks. 10 years later, lawmakers willbe using the same technology.

Eventually we will become a heeping glob of connected sentient beings, conveying thought half-way across the world in a split second without the hinderances of language and culture.

As someone that as a child thought that we would be driving flying cars by now, I predict that we will have made disappointingly less technological progress that one would think we should.
