Some people are so manipulative that you don't realize how much this person can control your mind. What you need to do is weigh the good and the bad, and your long term goals. Does this person help or pull you down emotionally, physically and financially. Is this person the one? It is a tough thing, but don't waste your time with someone you really know is not right. Especially if it is causing your mental health to suffer. Good luck, takes strength and it does get better as time goes by...

I'm practically in that situation right now. What I can say based on my own experience it's not just because you love that person it's also because you have tons of good habits you've developed with that person, the time you took to build the relationship that you don’t want to be all wasted. The moment you feel like "it's time to leave" you feel it when you have a fight with that person or when something goes wrong in the relationship. Once the situation is resolved the "it's time to leave" feeling disappear to come back again when both of you argue. This situation makes you feel very uncomfortable, unsecured and confused. You just don't know whether to break up or not. Some people cheat on each other waiting that the clouds disappear others sit down and make a serious talk to go ahead with new resolutions others are more adventurous and just split. What really makes a person unable to let go it's because he doesn't want to let go, what the person' heart really desire is that the other party changes what he thinks is ruining the relationship. He won't let go as long he has hope that the other person will change a day. The day he will be able to let go it's the day he has 100% evidence that this will never happen.
Hope my opinion will help. Good Luck

That's only a question that God have to answer, because I have been there and it's crazy that you love someone so much that in your mind you know you need to let go or save yourself and you choose to still be with this person. What I do know is the longer you stay with that person the worst you feel about that person and sooner than later you will began to hurt that person. Love and hate is so close to each other you might mistake what you are feeling. The part that puzzles me is... the person that is causing you not to be around them really don't care that you feel this way and they are the cause of you feeling this way just as long as you stay in their lives. It's sad to break away from a person and they come around and you can't control how you feel. for a long time you wish they would behave and love you the way you love them. I know this... One day when the time come, you'll let go. I mean truly let go.

Because there is different between needs and wants. If that someone is what you want than no matter how hard you try you won't get it and if that someone is your needs than many times you don't have to do anything, it will come by itself. So, just believe in your faith.

Because sometimes being with someone is almost a habit. Habits are hard to break!
If you want to let go of someone you love, it's very difficult because you obviously want to be with them.
Think about why you let them go. If it's a good reason, be grateful you had the huevos to do it.

I think that the fact of u hurting the person comes to mind. If u are talking of a death situation, then it is never easy to let go, it takes time.

It's a way your heart is telling you that you're not ready and that you love that person.

Take it slow. Don't rush it. Let go when you're ready to. Your head is telling you you can, but your heart is saying that you can't.

"Falling in love is easy get into, but getting back out is the challenge."

because letting go is your admission to yourself that it is totally OVER and it will take a while for you to succumb to that especially if you have a strong attachment to that person irregardless whether that person is good or bad
