A runway model (female) is to be 5'-8" to 5'-10" That is the standard for coture clothing, and runway ready to wear lines. Any other height would be more suited for different type of modeling than runway shows. Weight has no bearing, it is body proportion that is most important. The ideal measurements and bone structure, or carriage (physical body) is what determines a models effectiveness at showing off clothing. Of coarse there are well known models that tower over 5'-10" but they are by far the exception and not the normal physical stature. Watch next top model and listen for tips. Goto the FORD modeling agency website and read up on it. Don't by woed by disreputable agencies. It costs a fair amount to get going as well, such as developing a portfolio (pictures to show your versatility) and classes to teach you gait and stride (essentially how to walk confidentaly). And always take a parent with you. ALWAYS TAKE A PARENT WITH YOU>

For runway: 5'7" to 6'2" are acceptable, they prefer 5'9" to 6'
Print: It doesn't really matter.
But the thing most people need to understand is that just height and weight won't do it, the agencies want a recognizable and striking look, not something that is done again and again.
I don't mean the above stated in relation to you, but in general.
If you believe you can do it, then by all means, try.

depends on what type of modeling..
runway are taller then you even for women
otherwise. height isn't the biggest issue as long as your uniquely attractive magnetic and proportionet
but be prepared to be spoken to like your a piece of meat
and have a good self esteem because if there is anything wrong with you they will say something about it
you could be very skinny .. but they might still say you look fat and need to tighten your abs or something
they might say very mean stuff
and you will be used
but know when to put your foot down

You should be tall enough...models start at that range...and at sixteen, you may just be the height you are going to be for the rest of your life...you should be okay though...

My sister is a model and she is 5'8". They wouldn't let her do runway stuff though because they said they wanted 5'10". But it could be different for different agencies.
