you were sitting home watching your tv, while I was part of some paintin' and some anarchy, first stop we headed was my liquor store, I finally got all that alcohol I cant afford, red lights flashing time to retire and then we turned that liquor store into a structure fire, next stop we headed was my music shop, it only took one brick to make that window drop, finally we got our own P.A., where do you think I got this guitar that your hearing today.

Working- driving a van, making deliveries in North Long Beach, the area which was the subject of the song, as well as the home of Sublime. We all brought our guns to work for about a week, as it was like a war zone, but fortunately none of us had to use them. By the way, all the names and addresses in the song are very thinly veiled references to actual places. R.I.P. Bradley- what a waste.
