amber,

Since you asked this of married folks, I'm going to assume that marital status is an important aspect to those who are answering.

The term "conservative," or ANY term that describes sex, such as "kinky," or "wild" are definitions that are highly individualistic and conditional. Take a couple of virgins, for instance...just the act of disrobing is probable "wild" to them...the most exciting thing they've ever done!

So, in your case, "conservative" can mean so many things. To those who've been from one side of the sexual world to another, that term may describe one-position sex, lights off, eyes scrunched shut. Or, it may convey a lifestyle, where some religious beliefs ordain that sex is for procreation ONLY, not ever to be performed for pleasure. Most folks here say that whatever "conservative" is, it is boring...what bores THEM may be different by wildly varying degrees. Married folk CAN get in the habit of doing the same things over and over again, and anything can get monotonous, even sex. "Every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday nights after the kids are asleep, and do is as quick as possible for fear of being interrupted." If you KNEW what you were gonna have for dinner four nights a week, and it's all gonna be the same, wouldn't you get bored?

To some people, just arranging to have someone watch their kids and go to a motel for the night is viewed as "spicing things up."

In a nutshell...boring in bed. If it was said to you...then your partner was trying to tell you they need you to be more adventurous in bed. Talk about it...explore both your wants and needs. If there is something that maybe you think you wont like it...give it a try once to be fair..but if you really don't like it...they will have to respect that. Don;t be afraid of your sexuality...if you are married than go ahead....indulge your fantasies...sex is fun! And a gift between a husband and wife. Good luck!

It just means you are not very sexally knowledgable or you are not overly adventurous when it comes to sex as in experimenting
positions and different types of sex, oral, anal, personal toys, etc.

I think it is not ever leaving your comfort zone--not ever wanting to experiment--not like the over the top crazy just spicing it up sort of thing--
