I just started taking dance lessons(jazz, tap, and ballet) this year. I have ALWAYS wanted to, but just now could. I LOVE it so much and want to get really good, but I am 16 and just now starting. Is this possible if I work really hard?

Of course it's possible. You can start dancing at any age. If you really love it and work hard, you can become great. One of the professional dancers on the show Dancing With the Stars started dancing when he was 27 years old and became a professional a year later. You'll be great as long as you work really hard.

I've taken ballet tap and jazz since I was three and I think it's really fun. Of course you can get good!!! It might take a little while to get used to it but its definitely possible. It's probably too late to become a professional in ballet at least, but go as far as you can with this. you won't regret it!

to say the truth, it is best to start dancing when you are about 9-10, and ballet even earlier, since then you gain more flexibility, and more coordination. You could do dance as a hobby if you love it so much . Good Luck!!!

yes! I started at 18, and I'm a professional. Also, Joe Lanteri started at 18, and he is probably the best pro dancer in the world. Look him up!

of course you can get really good! you might be discouraged because you're sixteen, but there's no need to be! of course, i can't promise any professional career, but you can get really good at it. you have to really love it, though... which it seems like you do. you'll do great, i'm sure! good luck and have fun dancing!

Yes it is, it may require a lot of practicing day after day. Anything is possible, as long as you have what it takes to do it. Hope that helps:)
