My all-time country favorite is Tim McGraw's "Live Like You Were Dying" and I was going to say that even before I read your details. I was also already going to say that I really like Rascal Flatts "What Hurts the Most" and Tim McGraw's "She's My Kind of Rain".

I have too many to list--I've been listening to country since BEFORE I was born.
Charley Pride was my very first favorite singer, and I wasn't even in school yet. I also play a lot of Collin Raye at my house, and a lot of the songs other people don't get into as much. I'm kind of off the beaten path. But for the person who said Broken Road--yes, I LOVE that song.

I think that I have to agree with you about Tim McGraw-Live Like You Were Dying. I also like Drugs or Jesus by Tim McGraw and Jesus Take The Wheel by Carrie Underwood.

Beyond a shadow of a doubt, my favorite country western song is "They ain't makin' Jews like Jesus anymore", by Kinky Friedman and the Texas Jewboys. In it, he pokes fun at every kind of bigotry there is, but you'll never hear it on the radio today, because of all the racial slurs he mentions in the song (all of which, he's protesting, by the way). Nevertheless, you'll probably hear George Carlin's 7 dirty words in prime time before you hear that tune on the airwaves again. But it's still the best, and unique to boot. How many other country-western protest songs can you name?
