How much should you get paid if you babysit for about an hour?

In southern california the going rate is $10.00 per hour. I imagine it depends on what part of the country you live in and how experienced you are. Experience would not necessarily be babysitting experience ... it could also be your having expereince with younger siblings.

At least $30 if I have to babysit!!!!
I'm NOT accepting just $10 they must be crazy!!!

i'd say 10-20 bucks is fair
