Do you think that if we completely abolish abortion that it will create more/bigger problems because women will go and have back alley abortions which could lead to big health risks?

Medical science has come a long way since 1973. From the 1940's through 1973 (Year of Roe v. Wade), death caused by back alley abortions decreased significantly, while it's generally agreed the number of back alley abortions increased. I think there would be problems, but it wouldn't be a huge medical problem, as abortionists would continue to practice clandestinely.

Therefore, abolishing abortion would be an empty gesture.

YES!!! thats what already happened.

Abortion is a very important right for all women. It's difficult decision for the ones caught in a challenging situation. If you daughter was raped and got pregnant would you want her to be forced to have that child????

I wouldnt have an abortion but making it against the law would just cause more problems young kids running around with babies or people with 6,7,8 kids it would be a mess!!!

Dont ban all abortions. Just ban the needless ones, which is 93% of them. These are used for birth control purposes only. As far as rape, incest and medical conditions, I say we pity them for now.

That's where we were before terminations were made safe and legal.

I think abortion should be what it was originally meant to be for incest and rape.
