Most abilities that lie outside of the norm come about because of consistent meditation and contemplation on how they can come about. As we learn to use our minds we learn there are potentials latent within them and gradually uncover possibilities beyond the scope of the imagination. Though it's possible one would be born with abilities such as telekinesis I doubt it happens often, actually I doubt it happens often in any circumstance. IMO telepathy would be more useful in the world in the present day and age. Once we learned to understand one another's intentions then it may be safer for the abilities of telekinesis to exist more widespread.

You can probably develop them in a matter of time depending on the individual it can take a few weeks for some, for others it may take years. It would be cool if you kept telekinesis and other psychic abilities when we're children but people say that we have an over-active imagination and then we forget about them. There are a few books written on this subject go to a bookstore and look in the New Age section or ask someone who works there. And no one really knows how they're developed usually during puberty though. Pesonally I've been trying to develop them too off an on but it takes pratice like anything else. Good luck.

The answer is still being debated by scientists. As you would be aware there have been many fraudulent claims to the ability to move or bend objects. Think Uri Geller. It usually involves slight of hand and showmanship.
I have a friend who can do it as a party trick ,but that is all his power is the ability to trick.
Saying that I have read of cases that have defied scientific explanation, and were carried out under controlled circumstance.
I do not think that being born with the ability would have much significance as any child who has what could be abnormal abilities usually looses that ability after puberty.
I imagine that like any ability that is beyond the range of normality, would require many many years of dedicated training to bring the ability to its peak.
It is much like Wicca, where there are 18 year olds claiming to be witches and able to cast spells etc. Without realizing it takes over a decade to even learn the most simple aspects of the craft.
Many dedicated adepts spend a life time and can never cast an incantation.
There is so much involved other than learning a few lines from a book published by some person with an impressive name.
Telekinesis should be approached with the same caution of belief in the practitioner.

There isn't any reason why a person couldn't have telekinetic abilities, or telepathy for that matter. You are after all, an electrochemical device. As such, you generate electrical fields. All a person would need to do is learn how to consciously direct any part of that field to affect things in the environment around them. To practice, I'd say start with small floating objects, and move up, as you get more adept. Telepathy would probably work just like a radio, you'd have to be tuned to the person, and probably even think a lot like them to decode the information. could be why its always claimed to be stronger in related people.

There is no such thing as any type of supernatural powers. There is a guy call James Randi. He has a challenge where he will put any body psychic claim under well controlled scientific test. If the person passes the test then they get 1,000,000 us dollars. To this date no one has gotten even close. All the phenomena that people claim to have or experience can be easily explained by natural phenomenons, lack of understanding, or simply a scam.
If you where asking about this just for fun then either way is correct since is all fake any ways.
Oh an explanation on why we don't have telekinesis. We don't need it. There is no need for it. It takes less effort to simply grab an object and move it than to use you mind to move it. There fore we haven't evolve to do such a thing. We don't need to.

It has to be something than can be learned because it was used in the past to move huge blocks of stone.
Blocks of stone, each weighing as much as a locomotive were removed to build the Great Sphinx in Egypt. They were used to build a temple nearby. They were most likely NOT lifted with giant steel cranes, which is the only way you can do it these days.
Now, if these stones were not lifted in some telekinetic way, why weren't they simply cut into smaller blocks?

without touching them with your hands.
but you do action trigger a field, possibly even through the earth magnetic field that reacts, the brain waves or even spiritual waves from the human soul trigger a force field, directioned on that object with your mind.
Are many techniques for this, some advice concentrate upon a candle light saying specific sounds=mantras, to empower your energy channels or perhaps some more advanced in science use devices that mess directly with human brain.BOW!!!
The first thing is to want to do it, and if you have talent you'll notice, if you don't are weak chances you'll get a result. GOOD LUCK, AND IF YOU DO, DO ONLY GOOD, OKAY?

I believe severe head trauma is required in order to develop any telekinetic abilities.

I believe that telekinesis (and all other "paranormal" powers) are phony and have absolutely no validity... I don't want to rain on your parade, but all the "proofs" of these abilities are flawed (in my view) I am rather like a "Doubting Thomas"...show me the proof in unambiguous terms, and I will believe...not until then! Good Luck!
