It's a rude term in that it implies there's something wrong with being gay.

The key words are "acting" and "looking".Neither is a quality worthy of recognition in the grand scheme of things.However, masculinity, on the other hand, is very attractive.A man who is masculine is what I am attracted to.I am not gay because I want someone who is feminine and behaves with over the top female mannerisms.Nor am I gay because I am attracted to guys who wear lip gloss and mascara or wear pink shirts and short shorts.Nope.I am gay because I am attracted to men and the masculinity of men.I am not saying that I reject guys who are in touch with their feminine side.But if a feminine side is all they got then I am not attracted at all.Masculinity is part of the attraction.

I don't think its a big deal. Some of the straightest acting/looking guys I've come across have turned out to be the best sex I've ever had.

I just prefer guy that are not effiminate. I like the dudes that look like they just got released from jail unfortunately. And I'm not effiminate either. I figure if you are gay, you like men. So why act effiminate? Some guys like that. I dont get it. Why dont they just be with a girl then?
