This is a very common issue for new Moms. Your body will naturally adjust to less sleep. However, you are going to have to sleep at the same time as the baby, and if you have a partner, friend or family member, have them care for the baby for a bit too, allowing you to get the sleep you need. Hope you feel better real soon.

I don't know if this will help you, but it helped me alot! Go to Oprah's website and look up the secret language of babies. Believe me it works! I thought my baby was colicky, but it turns out I didn't know exactly what was wrong, so I would quickly try everything (bottles, burping, diaper changing, etc.) When I knew what she was saying, I would try longer to solve the problem. Also get something that plays music and lights up on the ceiling that attatches to the crib. Also helped alot. Sometimes it distracted her enough for her to fall asleep. If all else fails, get someone to watch him/her. You have to get some rest!
