i was going thru song and selected one, that song is not playing and my ipod just completely FROZE!!! i tried connecting it to the computer but nothing


I AM GOIN TO PANIC!!!!

reset it as others have said, but here is how you do that: slide the hold switch on and off twice, then place your ipod on a flat surface and hold the menu and the select button (the one in the middle) for 6-8 seconds, you should see the apple icon appear, you are then good to go. You should probably reimport that particular song though.

the same thing happened to me.
it's easy.

An iPod that has crashed or frozen can be reset by switching 'Hold' on then off, then holding Menu and Center (Menu and Play on the 3G iPod) for 6-10 seconds.

Okay, you need to reset your ipod. That has happened to me before. You reset it by holding down the menu and center button at the same time, and you won't lose your songs either. Trust me, one day my ipod just got overworked, so just reset it and check that you don't have and specail settings (one time I had it on shuffle, and it would choose it's favorite song!)

slide the ipod hold swith to on and hold the menu and the center button down for about 10 seconds.. It will reset the ipod but your songs will still be on there

PUT IT ON HOLD FOR 8 SECONDS. THEN PRESS MENU AND THE MIDDLE KEY UNTIL THE APPLE LOGO COMES UP. AND DAT WILL WORK IT OUT.

once the battery runs out, it should fix itself. but think you can reset it. refer to apple's ipod site

that happened to me once- I just left the iPod on the whole day and let the battery die which fixed it.
