no...and no.......
If what I see around me is normal, then no i'm not...and wouldn't want to be either. I am me. As for my path..., my path IS to explore unchartered territory, to learn in order to teach, it's one long adventure.
But there are those that hear, yet will not listen.

NO ONE, AND I MEAN NO ONE IS NORMAL! There may be similarities amongst all of us, but that is nothing. None of us know what is going on in other people's minds, no one can ever depict the reasons why something has happened. There are things that go unanswered and there are others to relate, but it could never be the same.
This doesn't mean that we are all alone because we are different, because we are all different and that unites us all whether if it makes sense to any one else or not, it does and that is what being abnormal is all about. In my opinion, I don't even think that the work normal should be allowed to be used in the dictionary. There is no such thing and when it is defined, it excludes its own definition.
So ask if I am normal? I do believe that you can answer that one for yourself.

Hun, I don't think there is such a thing. Everything in our world is so complex that nothing can ever really be the same, and there isn't really such a thing as a "normal" or "typical" being. But especially with people- it may seem like some people are "normal" (really just another word for average), but everyone's strange or odd in their own way, whether or not it's visible (to them, an' everyone else around them).

What a geat question. I am not sure what normal is. Families are in general all partially or mostly dysfunctional in my 60 year experience, although they may be very happy and R.D.Laing always maintained that psychiatric patients were more normal than so called normals in the world. His argument was that the world is so screwed up with nuclear bombs and wars etc atrocities of all sorts, that the crazies were saner and certainly more honest.

Alone and exploring uncharted territory baby!
However, I am charting some of this territory and making it known to others sometimes as I go along.
They usually are bewildered and disbelief.
Whatever... I just keep going.

no, sorry, I am not retarded. ...lol
Yea, I guess I might be normal. I have explored much of unchartered territory, but that doesn't make me different because many before me have done the same. I do concider myself to have special triats, but that is not abnormal, that is part of the evolutionary consequence.
So, yes, I am normal, I am human.

I use to think of my self as normal. but as I get older, I realize that there really is no normal, only whats socially acceptable. if you feel like you want to be socially likeable be normal, if you want to go explore unchartered territory thats fine too, that can lead to great discoverys, just dont forget whats normal so you can relate your findings later to normal people, otherwise people will just think your crazy.

Normal is a pretty hard question to answer as it has so Meany\
what some people call normal isn't always the case. Normal is a kind of stereo type. But has what is called the stander norm. Generated by ratios giving by a standard common since of averages among society. thanks breeze
