The best time for things to end is just after they've become people's obsession. If it had ended after just 1 or 2 seasons we would have been left with positive feelings toward The OC, rather than disgust at what it has become. This ending is long overdue.

The show was really going no where, and im a little upset that julie is going to get engaged to bullet, i mean jesus..can the woman stay single for more than a year !?

saw it coming at the end of last season. they were running out of storylines and the actors were starting to look long in the tooth.

It's a blessing, really. There are too many wasteful, stupid programs about unrealistic circumstances and bratty b!ches (Laguna Beach, Desperate Housewives, My super sweet 16)

the first 3 seasons were really good, but this fourth season has gotten kind of weird.
