They got busted for lip synching and basically not being a real band had their Grammy taken away and wound up having to change their name. A few times and at one time they called themselves The Real Milli Vanilli. They released 5 new albums after Girl You Know It's True but none were big hits outside their native Germany.
Rob Pilatus died of a drug overdose after a crime spree in 1998 but Fabrice Morvan has made a few new albums and has been on TV.

Fab has been doing some DJ'ing, producing and writting but Rob passed away of a drug overdose in the late 90's (i cant remember the exact year)
