Even though the battery dosen't last very long, and it wears out 30% quicker than the battery of any other portable music player.

Please tell me some good things that other music players DON'T have. So far, in all of these answers and all of the information I have found about iPods, I haven't found any feature that other players can't do, sometimes they do it better!

Yeah; I saw the movie "firewall." You can break into banks with them and transfer millions into your own account.

iPods are no better than MP3 players, they both do the same thing, and my MP3 player was cheaper. my mp3 has video, a recorder, plays music, all the features of an ipod. there really is no difference, except mp3 players have a longer battery life. i can leave my player on all night and still have a little juice left in the morning. my advice.... FORGET IPOD STICK WITH MP3!

Well, there are a lot accessories for it and its a proven product. Also the price went down to $250 for a 30gig unit which isn't bad. Personally I would get something else since the ipod doesn't really act like a second hard drive (it updates songs so you can't load all your tunes on the ipod then delete them from your computer).

iPod is tried and true. It works just as well with Windows on my pc as it does with a Mac. I understand they are coming out with a wide screen for their video pod. I have an older 6 gb iPod and love it, but will replace it with a larger capacity videopod when my 6 gb battery wears out.

If you have an apple computer they are great. Otherwise the cheaper other brands work just as good. I have a Mac and an Ipod and they work together perfectly.

Ipods are fabulous. They play videos, tv shows, movies, games (the 30 and 80 gb's do), you can put your contact list and calendar in it, you can convert it to a hard drive for transporting files, it stores photos (you can create a slide show), you can play it through your car stereo, hook it up to your tv. They are just wonderful. I have a 30g and I never leave home without it.

Say stable-bye to the previous one and hi to a sparkling one. Then i could probable bypass hit my head against a wall some situations for putting it interior the washer and dryer interior the 1st place, yet that's basically me.

video music but personaly id go for zune its cheaper and it has allthe great feturs ipod does and its got a radio and you can wirelessly share msic w/other friends that have zune
