.Why?? seems kinna unnecessary to me, It would make me feel very uncomfortable. & who said anything about sex???? of course theres nothing sexual about it, But I dont want to see my parents naked. Bottom line. The best answer for this is to ask your son if he is comfortable with you being naked in front of him, If it doesnt bother him then more power to ya. If it does then respect his wishes.

Fathers and sons should see each others naked body, in sauna or shower or swimming pool. Too many teens have body hang-ups because they were never exposed to casual nudity. When the YMCA had Father-Son swim sessions, there was no issue with the fact that they were all naked. Some times grand-fathers also attended.
Fathers and sons bonded in this manner. That is were I learned to swim.

If a father and son have already established a pattern of being naked together in appropriate settings, then the answer is "yes" no matter the age of the son. If not, and the boy is a teenager, it may be awkward. But it is well worth the effort for a father to take advantage of situations in which he can be nude before his sons. Nothing shows acceptance to a boy quite so easily as for the father to allow him (the son) to see him (the father) naked. I have researched this with a large number of men who were sons and who are now fathers, themselves. The number one element present in bad father/son relationships is the refusal of the father to let his son see him naked. The reverse is also true. I have seldom known a successful father/son bonding, of trust and confidence, wherein this one element, of fathers going nude before the sons, and always in natural and non-threatening situations, was absent. The question for any father who is not willing for his son(s) to see him naked is this: What is to be gained, or lost, by allowing him to see you naked?

Of course! There is nothing wrong or unnatural about the human body. Too many Americans get hung up on some supposed sexual dynamic. There isn't one in a sauna.
In Europe, people of all ages, and both sexes, happily share a sauna naked and think nothing of it.

why not? It's not like the father never saw the son in the raw...Besides, you've got towels so you're not totally in the buff! Men share saunas all the time and it's not considered weird.

Umm...your in a sauna....your kinda supposed to be naked.
Whats wrong with a son seeing his father naked...or his mother for that matter....it's natural and it's silly of us to try to cover up and hide nature.
Taking a sauna is not sexual in any way.

it's probably okay as long as they aren't sitting next to each other or doing anything that's sexual.
I saw a father and son work out at the gym. The son waited while the dad took a shower, but I was wondering what if the son had to shower too? Guess it's okay - it's all guys.
As long as it's not sexual.

Too many people get so hung-up about nudity, only because the only times their ever nude are to bathe or to have sex. So, they cannot imagine nudity in any other situation.
Again, I say, look at the families at nude resorts and beaches around the world. Nothing unusual going on here at all.

Nothing wrong with it at all. Go for it, sauna in the nude together. It has been done for thousands of years, don't let a bunch of morons on here change your mind.

What is wrong with being naked?
people have such hang ups about their bodies and sexuality.
naked is not sexual... naked is natural... the way we're born and brought into this world and the way we go out of this world.
it is the lack of naked that makes it so taboo, uncomfortable and in today's world a crime....
to be naked in front of your own family is not crime or abuse.

I say its alright as long as it doesn't get sexual. Males have the same body parts and there's nothing to ashamed of. Its fine if father and son see each other naked.
