what is the best way to get pregnant and can peeing after sex decrease your chances?

The best way to get pregnant is to have a lot of unprotected sex when you are ovulating. You can buy tests at the store that you pee on and they will tell you if you are ovulating. You usually ovulate around 2 weeks after your period I believe. You can also tell if you are ovulating by your temperature, but I dont know how that works. I would surf the net and do some research on Trying to Conceive...There are so many sites with tips and such to help you concieve.
Also if you are trying to conceive I would start to take a folic acid every day becuase that helps fight against birth defects (also start taking pre-natals so your body is healthy before you concieve), also get a yearly woman check to make sure everything is fine and you are good to go on your path to becoming parents.
Being healthy ups your chance of becoming pregnant and having a healthy pregnancy.

P.s. Peeing after sex does not decrease your chances of becoming pregnant, that is like saying you cant stand up for 30 minutes after sex...Those are just old wives tales, it doesnt matter, believe me.
p.s.s. The guy above me that is saying that you have to put the penis inside the cervix is stupid and obiously doesnt know that you cant fit a penis inside a cervix. So dont listen to him dear.

I do have to say that what really worked for me is i had an orgasm and as i had one he would *** and a couple weeks later i was pregnant. I saw some show on the discovery channel about sex and our body and even the narrator or the doctor, whom ever it was said that when a women has an orgams the same time a man *** the chances of her getting pregnat are really good. So we tried it and it work. I didnt have to put my butt against the wall with my legs straight up n the air. Try it, it should work. But try this 13 to 14 days after your period. I also learned in my natural family planning class that around the 14th day after your period, you want to have sex everyday. But make sure he builds his load first because if you keep having sex every day and ever couple hours, his sperm count is really low. Hope this helps and good luck

Have unprotected sex, but try not to think about getting pregnant because I was always worried about getting pregnant then when i least expected it i got pregnant...dont have to much sex either because it can cause you to not get pregnant...thats what a doctor told me...and of course it wont decrease the chance of getting pregnant if you pee right after!! well good luck!!

There are lots of natural ways to increase your chances. The best way is knowing your body. The book: Taking Charge of Your Fertility: The Definitive Guide to Natural Birth Control, Pregnancy Achievement, and Reproductive Health by Toni Weschler is a GREAT book to read.
Everyone things gettting pregnant is just about having lots of sex. For some people it's harder than that. :o( This book should help. :o)

I'm amazed at the "have lots of sex" answers. While that may be true - it's important WHEN you have sex.
If your periods are regular - like every 28 days - then you are most likely to get pregnant 14 days after your period starts. Halfway through your cycle. Also - your temperature may change when you are ovulating - so you can pay attention to that.
The idea is to get as many sperm as possible - to move toward a fertile egg. It only takes one sperm.
I don't know what effect urine has on sperm - but the sperm who are lagging behind and didn't quite get inside - would be the ones killed - and it would be unlikely that they would be the sperm to make it to the egg at that point anyway.

you should actually go to the bathroom before sex to avoid UTIs. Other than that it has nothing to do with getting pregnant, the best way is to have unprotected sex while you are ovulating... you generally ovulate starting 3 days after your period for about 7 days, have lots of sex those days and it'll increase your chances.

Have lots of sex! Yes and no. You want to remain on your back for a few before jumping up to go pee. This way you keep more in. GOOD LUCK

Have sex! Not with N E one. With the one u love. Sex 24/7 or until your pregnet. Be sure your sex partner is ok with this.

ACTUALLY... you shouldn't stand up after sex because the semen is going to drain out of you. What me and my husband did was when we were done I would lay on my back with my butt against the wall next to our bed and put my legs straight in the air and he would put a pillow under my butt. We did this everytime we had sex and we decided on December 16th 2006 we wanted a baby and guess what... I went to the doctor on January 17th 2007 and I was preggo!
