I tried using soap, carpet cleaner, but nothing is working, the stain is still there. Should I rent a carpet cleaner? Or hire a professional carpet person?

If Windex won't get it out, nothing will. Works great on carpet stains. Spray it, rub it slightly, soak it up with paper towels, ewwwww. good luck!

definatly get a new carpet if u cant get it out...
but here is something that might get the stain out STAIN REMOVER.... you can get it from sams or even costco.. just ask for where stain removers are located and they should probably tell you.. but if they dont screw them!!! and dont get a carpet cleaner he or she is probably going to do the same thing and not find a way to get it out.. he will cost money and not get the job done.!!

I would use Spot Shot rug cleaner...I have never found a stain that this cannot remove! Even permanent marker!

Good luck!

I think even the idea of having had poop on the carpet would prompt pulling it out and replacing it. How could you ever really be comfortable in the room after that.
