My children are doing a oral report of Panama and they need to bring some food to the classroom. Something that we can do in the house. We live in the Caribbean, so we should find the ingredients easily. What do you suggest?

Well you can make "sancocho" which is basically chicken soup. Water, chicken, onions, yucca (cassava), salt, pepper, and make some soup.

Panamanian Tortillas are made out of yellow corn. You would have to boil dry yellow corn, mill it with a hand cranked mill, make it look like a small pancake, and fry it.

I think you can find some recepies on the Internet.
